1) Why should we pay Wine Country Safari to take me winery touring when
we can drive there ourselves?
There are now more than 600 wineries in the Napa, Sonoma, Russian River,
Dry Creek, and Anderson Valleys - more than 400 in Napa Valley alone.
We specialize in taking you to small, limited-release wineries producing
exceptional wine, often available only at the winery and many by
appointment only.
Our luxurious touring vans are equipped with leather captain's chairs and
wrap-around windows so everyone has a great seat.
By leaving the driving to us, everyone in your group gets to participate in
tasting the best wines in the world while having a safe and hassle-free tour
in the California wine country.
2) How much does it cost?
Typical 7-hour touring day visiting 5-6 wineries costs $130 per person plus
7.5% License/tax. Our Guests typically spend an additional $30-50
throughout the day on tasting fees, picnic food & wine, driver tip, etc.
3) How far ahead do we have to make reservations?
Saturday and Sunday are normally booked 1-2 weeks in advance. Weekday
touring is more relaxed and tasting is usually conducted by the winemaker
and/or owner. For one or two people, we will accommodate you as long as
there is some flexibility on dates. Please call as soon as possible for groups
of 4-8.
4) What if we have to cancel or reschedule?
Wine Country Safari accepts Visa / Mastercard or personal check to reserve
tours. If an alternative date is acceptable to you, we will reschedule up to
one day prior to touring. Cancellations seven days before touring will receive
full refunds. Cancellations under seven days will be charged a $50 cancel fee.
